Lead Sheets & Compositions
A selection of midi sequences and accompanying lead sheet which were featured on my original web-site. The lead sheets were generated using PG Music's Band-In-A-Box rendered to graphic. Notation produced by Finale or Sibelius is of a much higher quality. For more jazz
midi sequences (which I've produced) and information on producing your own midi sequences visit my Midi Files Page.
Click on the midi graphic to play the tune, click on the name of the tune to view the lead sheet. Feel free to play the tunes on your gigs and recordings. All these tunes have been filed with the US
Copyright Office. International Copyright Secured. All Rights Reserved.
I recommend using the graphics program IrfanView32 to view and print out the lead sheets.

Farewell Smooth Bossa Nova
A very smooth bossa nova, written and dedicated to those making changes in their lives, perhaps saying farewell to certain situations. A TV series theme tune. |
Midweek Some Ting Up tempo Swing
Melody written on the harmony to a "Bird" Blues. A good midweek tune. |
True Meaning Jazz Waltz - A tribute to pianist Bill Evans
Melody written in the style of and on similar harmonic changes as compositions by the late great pianist. |
Gigs 4 Julie Jo Up Tempo Swing
A contra fact melody based on the harmony of "Have You Met Miss Jones", written as a tribute to NY Jazz Guitarist Joe Giglio. The title came about as a pun on a conversation we had when Joe was talking
about booking gigs and the mispronouncing of his name. It's not Gig-lee-o but Julie-O! |
